Oakland University beat Oral Roberts 85-84 in OT tonight. Forgive my partisan view, but it's a huge win for the Golden Grizzlies. ORU is the dominant power in the conference and Oakland has struggled to hang with them. To pull off a win, even a tight, perhaps controversial, home win is a step in the right direction.
Now, it's onto the Mid-Con tourney where the Golden Grizzlies will be the second seed. (Oh, those last two road losses hurt now.)
