Bowling With Steve
Stewart Mandel of SI.com takes a stab at predicting all the bowl game match-ups. For Michigan fans, Mandel envisions an Outback Bowl appearance against South Carolina. Not a dream match-up, but I know all the Michigan fans out there would love to beat the Ol' Ball Coach, Steve Spurrier.

AND he thinks MSU won't beat Penn State? C'mon!
By the way, can U-M still play in a New Year's Day (Jan. 2) bowl with four losses? That would be impressive. (Well, maybe not, if you're not a Michigan fan...)
The only chance U of M has at getting a January Bowl Game is beating OSU. If not they would be the third place team in the Big Ten behind PSU and OSU. Even if PSU loses and U of M wins they still have a shot at a January Bowl game, something I thought a few weeks ago at 3-3 was most likely a Motor City Bowl bid. But I still like my chances this Saturday and I still hold out hope that MSU will come thru for us again this year like last year (when they beat Wisconsin!). Hey, a cat can dream right?
